Bah-bah-blog vs Babalog: Storm in a TV-Cup

I write this after a two-month-long hibernation, after seeing a hot new blog featuring inside bitching and gossip on India's English language TV news channels....by and large this seems to be some slanging match between CNN-IBN and NDTV, with have-beens, wannabes and anonymous bystanders providing some fine amusement. Check this out:
http://warfornews.blogspot.com
It is essentially a storm in a teacup involving an incestuous minority of TV journos....in a nation of one billion people, they are a small number and talk to a small number, but there is a lot of good writing and criticism mixing with plain ole bitching, point-scoring and subtle lobbying on the blog. There is some people-like-us charm in all this.
The implications of this blog--which some argue is a spin promotion for a newbie channel--are enormous. Irrespective of who does it and what it carries, the blog shows what kind of criticism journalists and media barons will have to face in the coming days. There is a huge peer-to-peer commenting that is replacing old boss-speak, and insecurities are a part of the life in which stress hormones would have been better spent on sources and issues.
They are not discussing TRPs the way they should be....only goes to show that journos, when the cows come home, prefer mutual bitchery to objective analysis of their work. We need a third umpire on this one.
Show me the numbers, dude!

Lo And Alas!! Here we have another old horse who refuses to fade out, commenting on the medium that he has neveb been a part of that. Your glaring Pseudo intellectualism reflects from the fact that almost in all of your blogs, you've pasted links and CCPe'd ( that's Cut, Copied and Pasted) stuff that most of us would have discovered anyways. And while you've done that, may I ask you what makes you think that your wisdom is superior than others??
You say show me the numbers dude, I say show me something original old fella !!!

Dear anon1,
You have commented the same thing twice, which, as they say, is nice. Please note the comment here is not about any individual or channel. Is calling for an umpire in a game wrong? As for numbers, that applies to all, print on TV, so it doesn't matter if the writer, he or she, does not belong to it.

anon2 has said something of what i wanted to say. All I can say is that this blog was started to get some media students help on changes and issues that concern them. It is not half as exciting and original as the catty blogs, and I do apologise for it. I shall let personal remarks pass.

Amazing !! Can't believe you actually did this old fella. Your IP address posts traced back clearly demonstrated that you posted both the comments yourself, including the anonymous 2 post. Tell you what old fella, if you look at the other comments posted on your blogsphere, you can easily make out that you've repeatedly posted a large number of the comments yourself or let a chain string do the trick on your blogosphere
Man, there's something called as the IP address and the related strings attached to it, which clearly denote with the help of Trackit software, where you've posted the comments from. In this case, both from the same location. Grow up or simply give up fella. Till then, like I saud earlier, SHOW US SOMETHING ORIGINAL.

small points department. IP addresses prove very little in office environs where computers are shared over networks. Quite possible I have sympathisers in workstations nearabouts, and given that my blog is hugely unpopular, regular readers are likely to be more near than far. However, I agree most of the comments on my blog are put up by webcrawlers trying to sell something. maybe you shuld do IP tests on them as well and come up with the numbers. It might help me stop spam comments. Thanks for all the hard work.

Vandanegalu friend. Your poodle faking doesn't end. Does it? Now check the time of the anonymous2 post and then the one posted by you. Aint they just too close to be true. The Real Slim Shady never learns right?? You were pretty much the same out here too. One again you expose your hollowness again. Time for Nandri!!. Look for an IP log of your system on monday. :)

?? What is vandanegalu mean? I know IP address does not cover individual workstations, boss(and there are literally dozens where i am). i also don't know or care about the details since i am no techie..and by your own words, there is a nearly one-hour gap. anyway, glad to see some sherlockian work. Will rest my case there. No point arguing over conjectures.
